Silver birch bark necklace in oxidized sterling silver

Birch bark pendant in oxidized sterling silver. This bar pendant represents the lovely white birch with a nice opposition of silver and dark oxidization on a textured background. Inspired by the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this is a versatile piece for any nature lover.

The image is embossed on a rectangular piece of sterling silver clay, which is then fired, oxidized, and hand polished. The pendant is suspended from a sterling silver cable chain and fastened with a sterling silver lobster clasp and chain tag. The pendant measures just over 1 1/2" (about 39 mm) in length and is wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear. You have your choice of 16" or 18" chain (the one being modeled in the photo is 16"). Please keep in mind when choosing chain length that every body type is different and the lengths will fall differently on each person.
